    Biocat is the organization that champions the healthcare and life sciences ecosystem in Catalonia working to transform science and technology into regional economic growth as well as social impact. Biocat has experience in accelerating healthcare projects and developing talent since 2008. In ten years, Biocat has invested over €11 million, distributed in 300 programs attended by more than 2,300 students, and has successfully accelerated 96 life sciences projects that generated 300 new job positions.

    Moebio is the initiative of Biocat for acceleration and innovation. It is ranked as one of the top accelerators in Europe according to rankings by Digitalhealth.careers, Mobile World Capital, Tech EU and HealthStartup.

    CIMIT

    CIMIT (Consortia for Improving Medicine with Innovation & Technology) is a network of world-class academic and medical institutions partnering with industry and government. It includes 13 of Boston’s strongest academic medical centers, universities and a growing network of national and international affiliates, including Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), Boston University and Harvard Medical School among others. Its mission is to foster collaboration among clinicians, technologists and entrepreneurs to accelerate innovation and leverage discovery, development, and implementation of innovative healthcare technologies.

    CIMIT has been accelerating healthcare innovation for over 15 years. It has supported the development of over 250 solutions to important unmet needs, including over 600 peer-reviewed and facilitated collaborative projects. 78 of the innovative solutions supported by CIMIT have made a "commercial exit" and reached a point that a commercial partner is advancing these solutions into use.

    EIT Health is a consortium of more than 140 leading organizations spanning key areas of healthcare, such as pharma, medtech, payers, research institutions and universities. The goal of EIT Health is to contribute to increasing the competitiveness of European industry, improving the quality of life of Europe’s citizens and the sustainability of its healthcare systems. EIT Health aims to create 70 start-ups per year and support another 150 by 2018. 

    The INCUBATE! activity line in the EIT Health Accelerator pillar offers support for not-yet entrepreneurs or scientists wanting to develop start-ups. Activities include innovation training and assistance with initiatives like CRAASH Barcelona and other bootcamp programs that help entrepreneurs create a business plan from an initial idea or research project.

    YES!Delft is a tech incubator founded in 2005 by the City of Delft and Delft University of Technology (Netherlands). It helps entrepreneurs build and grow leading technology companies and has already supported over 200 technology companies, 90% of which are still active.
